Sakidasu — Gyokuro Tea

Branding and packaging design for a Japanese tea brand, Sakidasu. A modern, fresher and brighter take on Gyokuro tea packaging, this product comes in 3 variations: Jasmine, Mint and Pink Pepper and is intended to be sold in niche European and North American specialty tea shops, coffee shops and health food stores. The box "clicks" when closing and opening due to a clever use of cardboard folds inside the lid, which hold the cover in place, make the box extremely easy to produce and to store. The design is inspired by Samourai helmets (kabuto).
